Halloween Book Club Party
THEME:
Invite your regular book club over to discuss Halloween short stories, gothic novels, or some creepy literature you agreed upon last month. Put aside your regular book club book and talk about something Halloween-related.
ACTIVITY:
Serve a light dinner, plenty of snacks and desserts, and gather in your living room to talk about literature. Discuss a book you've all agreed to read; or take turns reading dark poetry or short Halloween ghost stories. Share suggestions for further reading everyone can do on their own at home in the next dark, cold, rainy months.

Play something quietly spooky and instrumental in the background. Something interesting to listen to, but not so loud or distracting that it prevents talking about the book.
